Friday, July 23, 5–8 pm Join the Delaware Museum of Natural History at Hudson Fields Beer Garden for some summer fun! In celebration of all creatures big and small, furry and scaly, creepy and crawly, we’re holding a roach-tastic fundraiser! For a small donation, you can name a cockroach after a loved — or unloved — one in your life. All proceeds support the Museum’s Animal Ambassadors (yes, including the hissing cockroaches). They might not be cuddly, but they are important. You probably wouldn't snuggle a Madagascar hissing cockroach. But, encounters with live animals are valuable learning opportunities for children and adults. DMNH’s live animals are ambassadors for their species, connecting people with live animals. Please note: because we're working with live animals, we cannot promise specific animals will appear. Sometimes, the animals have other plans for their day!
